Only the finest hides. Nothing less.
We work exclusively with full-grain leathers from prestigious tanneries in Italy and France — regions with centuries of leatherworking tradition and an uncompromising approach to craft. Each tannery we work with has earned its reputation through generations of expertise, responsible sourcing, and uncompromised consistency.
In a market flooded with bonded leather, PU coatings, and corrected-grain hides disguised as quality, we think it is worth being clear about what you are actually getting. Inferior leathers may look acceptable on day one, but they crack, peel, and fall apart within a few years — and they never develop any character along the way.
We make things meant to last a lifetime. That starts with the right leather.
Some of our regulars
Chèvre Sully — French Goat Leather by Alran
Sully is the flagship leather of the prestigious Alran S.A.S. tannery, founded in 1903 in Tarn, France. Widely considered a gold standard for high-end leather goods, each hide is shrunk, hand-boarded and combination tanned to achieve its unique properties. Sully is lighter than cowhide, soft and highly durable. Being a full aniline (uncoated) leather, it retains the raw texture of the hide, while at the same time having a uniform grain that is water and scratch resistant. Due to its high price tag and being challenging to work with, this leather is almost never found in mass-produced goods.
Buttero - Cowhide Leather by Conceria Walpier
Buttero is a vegetable-tanned leather produced by Conceria Walpier, a historic Tuscan tannery with a centuries-old tradition of fine leather craft. Tanned using natural tree bark extracts, it is dense, durable, and holds its shape superbly. Finished with a subtle waxy surface, Buttero is delicate to the touch and prone to scratches, which blend into a rich patina that develops over time — growing more beautiful the longer it is carried. Each textured version of this leather is achieved through a patterned heat-press that seals the fibers, providing more daily wear resistance while maintaining the natural grain.
Koala Leather by Conceria Puccini Attilio
Koala is one of the most celebrated leathers produced by Conceria Puccini Attilio, a family-run tannery founded in 1986 in Ponte a Egola, the heart of Tuscany's historic leather district. KOALA is crafted from the finest French-origin cow shoulders and is 100% vegetable-tanned using natural extracts from quebracho and chestnut trees, giving it a firm structure and excellent elasticity. It is finished using a special blend of natural ingredients, which gives the leather a wonderfully soft, delicate surface, where every scratch will meld into a beautiful patina over time.
Cleaning
Wipe down regularly with a dry or very slightly damp lint-free cloth to remove dust and surface dirt. Avoid household cleaners, alcohol wipes, baby wipes, or anything containing solvents. Do not machine wash.
Water & Moisture
If wet, blot excess moisture gently and allow to air dry naturally, away from heat sources. Never use a hairdryer, radiator, or direct sunlight to speed drying — this causes cracking and stiffening
Heat
Keep away from excessive heat or prolonged intense sunlight, as it may cause changes in color. Do not iron or steam, avoid contact with an open flame. Leather does not catch fire, but will shrink, char, and turn to ash.
Conditioning
Condition every 3–6 months depending on use and climate — more frequently in dry or cold environments. We recommend using Smith's Leather Balm or a neutral, wax- or oil-based conditioner.
Ethical Sourcing
We source our leather from LWG-certified leather tanneries with proven track records of ethical and transparent practices. Furthermore, we only use leathers that have been produced as a byproduct of the food industry and the raw hides are considered a waste material. This is why we refuse to work with calf, exotics and any other leathers that may directly or otherwise lead to unnecessary harm to animals for the sole purpose of collecting their skins.
