Everyone claims "handmade"
We actually mean it.
Every product coming out of our studio was crafted from start to finish by a single artisan, using traditional European and Japanese techniques from times when production lines didn't exist. It takes more than 5 years to learn how to make a single item in our collection to the same standards.
Masterscrafted
Take a sneak peek of our process that transforms commodities into works of art.
Construction
Every panel is cut and assembled with precision, down to fractions of a millimeter. Leather is a natural, non-uniform material and no two pieces are the same, so the process of putting them together always requires an individual approach.
Saddle stitching
A centuries-old technique used to interlock each stitch individually, resulting in virtually indestructible seams. This method is extremely time consuming and difficult to master, therefore only being used by a handful of design houses in the world today.
Impeccable edgework
Precise edge finishing is the hallmark of the true leather craftsman. We take our time to paint/dye and mirror-polish every single edge to perfection, all done by hand using our own recipe. Depending on the leather, this process can take between 5 and 12 operations for a single edge to be finished.
Made to last
We have a no-compromise policy when it comes to durability. Our products are not meant to be replaced each season, but designed to endure decades. This starts with a careful selection of the best-in-class materials, threads, reinforcements and tools for the job.
